I am
done with my Induction Chemo!! I am now off treatment for 2 weeks. I feel like a kid on Christmas break! I am overwhelmed with the love sent my
way these past 18 weeks since I was diagnosed. Thank you so much
for your support in encouragement and prayers. You have made a huge difference
in my treatment for the good. Thank you so much. Wait a minute, did I say 18 weeks? . .
.has it really only been 18 weeks?? Hum, it seems like a lot longer, . .
. well - when I think about what is next. . .😧 I think that 18 weeks flew
by!
I
need/want to get a wig for when my hair falls out. Thankfully, my
insurance will pay for it as long as I get one from an in network
supplier. Unfortunately, the closest supplier is about 600 miles, round
trip, away. After several calls to my insurance, getting different
information with the same inquiry, I came upon an avenue that looked like it
would pan out. Panning out through the insurance company, though, is
still jumping through ridiculous hoops. Long story short, I got
permission to use a supplier in Chicago and just in time. Stephanie, Kerstin and I took a day trip to the big city this week and came
home with a beautiful wig. It was very helpful to have their input. I am so thankful for God’s provision and
timing.
I want to thank you for
taking time to read my blog. Your prayers and concern mean so much to me
and I value each one of you. I am praying this Christmas season you will have
time to reflect on the goodness of God and enjoy memorable times with your family
and friends.
Merry
Christmas and Happy New Year
